How can we help?

Quick answers below — or write to a real human at the bottom. Replies usually within a day.

Getting started

Do I need an account to use Evette?

No — and you never will. Evette works entirely on your phone with no sign-up, no email, and no login. The only thing our website ever asks for is an email address if you choose to join the waitlist.

Which platforms is Evette on?

iPhone and Android at launch. Join the waitlist on our homepage and you’ll get first access the day it ships.

Is Evette free?

Core tracking is free forever: logging, the calendar, predictions with honest ranges, and daily insights. One subscription — Evette Bloom — unlocks the full insights library, fertility intelligence, and pregnancy mode. There’s a 14-day free trial and no ads either way.

I’m switching from another app. How do I bring my history?

During onboarding, Evette asks for your last period start date and typical cycle length — that’s all the prediction engine needs to start. You can then tap any past day on the calendar to back-fill periods you remember; each one you add sharpens your forecast.

Predictions

How do Evette’s predictions actually work?

A weighted median of your real cycle history, with your most recent cycles counting double. Instead of a single confident date, Evette shows a window with a ± range and tells you how confident it is — learning, calibrated, or irregular. No guesses dressed up as certainty.

Why does my prediction show a ± range instead of one date?

Because that’s the honest answer. Cycles vary — even regular ones drift by a few days. The range comes from the actual spread in your history, so a ±2 means your body has varied by about that much. Apps that show one exact date have the same uncertainty; they just hide it.

My cycles are irregular. Will Evette still work?

Yes — and it will be honest about what it knows. With irregular cycles, Evette widens the window, marks confidence as irregular, and leans on your most recent data. What it won’t do is invent precision. Many conditions (like PCOS) make cycles irregular; a wide window is information too.

Can I log or edit a past day?

Yes. Open the Calendar tab and tap any past day to log or edit it — flow, symptoms, moods, notes, everything. Predictions recalculate instantly.

Privacy & data

Where is my health data stored?

On your phone, encrypted, and nowhere else. Your log is sealed with XSalsa20-Poly1305 encryption and the key lives in your phone’s secure hardware (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android). There is no Evette server holding a copy.

Can Evette employees see my data?

No. Not “we promise not to look” — we structurally cannot. Your data never leaves your device, so there is nothing on our side to see, sell, leak, or lose.

What happens if someone legally demands my data?

There’s nothing on any server to hand over. Data that only exists encrypted on your phone can’t be produced by us, because we never had it. That’s the point of building it this way.

How do I delete everything?

You tab → Delete everything. It wipes your entire log and encryption key from the device immediately. Because there’s no cloud copy, deletion is actually deletion.

What does the waitlist collect?

Just the email you type in, used only to tell you when Evette launches. Unsubscribe is one click, and we delete the address on request — email hello@evette.app.

Bloom & billing

What does Evette Bloom include?

The full insights library (every phase, every day, refreshed each morning), fertility intelligence with day-by-day conception odds and BBT charting, pregnancy mode with week-by-week guidance, and hormonal-weather forecasts for sleep, skin, focus, and mood.

How much does Bloom cost?

$7.99/month or $49.99/year, with a 14-day free trial. The annual plan works out to about $4.17 a month — roughly half the month-to-month rate.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, so cancel anytime in your App Store or Play Store subscription settings — no emails to write, no retention flow. Bloom keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and your data stays yours either way.

Can I get a refund?

Billing runs through Apple and Google, so refunds follow their policies — request one from your App Store or Play Store purchase history. If something went wrong on our side, email hello@evette.app and we’ll make it right.

Fertility & pregnancy

Does Evette support ovulation tests and temperature tracking?

Yes. In trying-to-conceive mode you can log OPK results, cervical fluid, and waking (basal body) temperature. Evette charts your BBT against predicted ovulation and shows honest day-by-day conception odds drawn from the published fertile-window studies.

What happens when I get pregnant?

Switch your goal to pregnancy in the You tab and Evette becomes a pregnancy tracker: week-by-week guidance, trimester insights, due date, and size comparisons — computed on your phone like everything else.

Your data, portable

Can I get my data out?

Always, in two formats: a clinician-ready PDF report (cycle summary, history table, symptom patterns — designed to be handed to your OB-GYN) and a complete JSON export of every log. Both live in the You tab. Your history is yours the day you want to leave.

Is Evette medical advice?

No. Evette is a tracking and education tool, not a medical device, and its predictions and insights aren’t diagnosis or treatment. Anything worrying — severe pain, very heavy bleeding, major cycle changes — deserves a real clinician.
