Privacy Policy

The plain-English version: your health data is encrypted on your device, we never sell it or share it with advertisers or data brokers, you can use Evette anonymously, and deleting your data actually deletes it. The rest of this page is the long way of saying the same thing.

1. Who we are

Evette (“we,” “us”) operates the evette.app website and the Evette mobile application. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@evette.app.

2. What we collect

On the website

If you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you provide, solely to notify you about Evette’s launch and related updates. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

In the app

The app is built around data minimization:

Health log data (cycle dates, symptoms, moods, and anything else you choose to record) is encrypted on your device. It syncs to our servers only if you enable backup, and then in encrypted form.
Account data is optional. Anonymous mode lets you use Evette with no name and no email.
Diagnostics (crash reports, performance data) are collected in aggregate and never linked to your health log.

3. What we never do

We never sell your personal data. To anyone. For anything.
We never share your health data with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers.
We never use your health data to train models shared with third parties.
We never require your real identity to use the core app.

4. How your data is used

Your health log exists for exactly one purpose: powering your own predictions, insights, and exports inside Evette. Waitlist emails are used to contact you about Evette. Aggregated, de-identified statistics (for example, overall feature usage) may be used to improve the product.

5. Legal requests

We design Evette so that we hold as little readable data about you as possible — encrypted, local-first storage means that in many cases we cannot produce your health log even if asked. Where we receive legal demands, we will challenge overbroad requests and, where the law allows, notify affected users.

6. Your controls

Export: download your complete data at any time, in open formats.
Delete: one tap erases your data from your device and our servers. Deletion is immediate and verified.
Unsubscribe: every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe.

7. Data retention

Waitlist emails are kept until launch communications conclude or you unsubscribe. App data is kept only while your account or device installation exists, and is destroyed on deletion.

8. Children

Evette is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, we will say so clearly — on this page and, where appropriate, by email — before the change takes effect. We will never weaken the “never sold, never shared” commitments above.
